With a vision of becoming a department that integrates teaching with professional practice, the Department is committed to combining physics expertise with industry-oriented research and talent cultivation. More than 70% of the faculty members have either industry work experience or experience in university–industry collaborative projects, including collaborations with ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd., Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited, Huang Liang Precision Enterprise Co., Ltd., Intersense Technology Co., Ltd., Sheng Ming International Co., Ltd., Quiding Nanotechnology Co., Ltd., and Tong Cheng Technology Co., Ltd.
The Department also continues to refine its curriculum through talent cultivation programs sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the National Science and Technology Council, with the goal of implementing an educational approach that bridges academic learning and practical application.
